New Zealand iHemp statistics

The number of licences holders and the areas being cultivated

This statistical information is sourced via an OIA (Official Information Act) request for the number of hectares cultivated, the seed varieties grown. Also the number of Research & Breeder licences and the general licence split between growers/farmers and the processing licences

We have data going back to when the iHemp regulations came into place in 2006. Prior to that we had trials when the licence to cultivate a controlled drug only cost $11.25, not the current $511.11
