Research and Development – Cottonization of hemp fibre for high end textile uses

by

A researcher is looking for research partners in New Zealand.  To develop and commercialise an ecologically friendly process for the cottonization of hemp fibres for high end textile uses

The overseas based researcher is wanting to collaborate with a New Zealand research facility which has access to suitable equipment.

He would be willing to come to New Zealand and work with others in this field to confirm the process, involving chemical pre treatment, bleaching and then cottinization of the fibre in a special way.

If you are able to help place this researcher in a suitable environment to work with other experts in the field of cottonising natural fibres, please contact Richard@hemptastic.co.nz for more details.
